About the Role
The Diligent Observer is a podcast and newsletter covering the organized angel investing ecosystem. We interview network leaders, investors, and founders operating at the intersection of early-stage capital and structured deal flow. With 50+ episodes published and a move to weekly releases, we need a content creator who can own the full production pipeline from raw recording to published episode. The core objective of this role is simple: the host records the episode and does nothing else. Every creative and operational decision downstream of that recording is yours. That means exercising significant judgment on clip selection, titling, framing, and quality, not waiting to be directed. We expect this role to maintain and improve on the quality of what we produce today, not just replicate it. You will receive direct feedback during an initial onboarding period to calibrate voice and standards, then operate with full autonomy. There is significant potential for this role to grow as the show scales. When applying, include a brief intro, a link to one or two podcast or video projects you’ve produced end-to-end, and a note on your current availability. No formal cover letter needed.
